More schools, taking to heart a recommendation made in “Raising Our Sights: No High School Senior Left Behind” (DGL spring 2002), are assigning senior projects. The goal is for students to demonstrate skills such as planning, researching, writing, and presenting; achieve a sense of growth and accomplishment; and dodge the doldrums of the senior year.
